Patricia L Norman

Pat, our dearly loved Mom and Nana, passed away unexpectedly on February 16, 2026 at her home.

She was born on July 24, 1937 to the late Reverend Lee and Marian (Dimm) Deppen. After graduating from Beaver Vocational HS in 1955, she took a PA State employee job in Harrisburg and later worked for First National Trust Bank in Beavertown.

In 1960, Pat married the love of her life Joe Norman who preceded her in death. They built an amazing life together and celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary last year. Through their years, they loved traveling and gathering with friends and family.

Mom enjoyed crocheting and was proud to make Prayer Shawls for many people in the community. Antiquing and attending public auctions were another favorite activity, which eventually led to the opening of Jo-Pa's Junction. She was a devoted fan of Phillies baseball and Penn State sports.

Her favorite time of the year was Christmas, she loved the holiday season and always gave her all when decorating. For other special occasions, she was happiest when she heard lobster was on the menu.

Pat is survived by her 3 children, Jodi Norman (Scott Moyer), Brett Norman (Alecia) and Shawn Norman (Beth); a grandson, Derek Norman (Jessica); two granddaughters, Megan Benjamin (Andrew) and Ashley Kelsey (Dave); 3 great-grandchildren; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Robert and Dianne Norman; her 4-legged pals, Remi and Kacy; as well as friends and extended family members who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Young.

The family finds comfort in remembering Mom's big hugs and quiet strength, in knowing that she is reunited with our 'Pa', and in the wonderful memories we will cherish forever. We will never forget the good-hearted way she endured our teasing over the years.

Friends and family are invited to help us celebrate Pat's life on Monday, February 23 from 10-11 am at the Kreamer Funeral Home, 130 S. Zechman St., Beavertown followed by a memorial service at 11 with Rev. Carl H. Bergerson officiating.
