Marvin L. Wagner, 81, formerly of Sawmill Road, Troxelville, passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2024, surrounded by his children at Celebration Villa, Lewisburg.
He was born Dec. 13, 1942, in Lewistown, to Luther and Grace (Bilger) Wagner.
He graduated from West Snyder High School in 1960 and served in the Air Force the next four years during the Vietnam War.
On April 17, 1965, he married Judy Ann (Keeler) Wagner, who preceded him in death on Feb. 12, 2018.
He worked at Standard Steel in Burnham for 38 years until retiring in 2005.
Things Marv enjoyed most were hunting, fishing, his dogs, and being in the mountains. He was a life-long member of the McClure Rod and Gun Club and was an avid Penn State fan.
Marvin was preceded in death by his parents and only sibling, Frances in 2000.
He is survived by sons, David (Lisa) and Steven (Belinda); daughter, Letty McKinney (Michael); six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family with Pastor Ann Zimmerman officiating. Military honors will be accorded by the Middle-West Veterans Honor Guard.
