Janice E Klingler

Janice E. Klingler, 82, of McClure, passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at William Penn Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center, Lewistown.

She was born May 19, 1941, in McClure, a daughter of the late Paul S. and Grace L.S. (Shawver) Auman. On Dec. 25, 1959, she married Kenneth H. Klingler Sr. who preceded her in death on Jan. 24, 2020.

Janice was a 1959 graduate of West Snyder High School.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in McClure.

Janice worked as a seamstress before retiring in 2006 from the housekeeping department at the Lewistown Hospital.

She enjoyed sewing, quilting, canning, gardening, and her cats. Janice also enjoyed trips with her husband to Dresden, Ohio. Her joy in life was getting to spend time with her grandkids.

Surviving are four children, Kay Klingler and companion Deron, Kenneth (Faith) Klingler Jr., Kimbra Klingler, and Shawn (Gwen) Klingler; five grandchildren, Ciara Voneida, Kenneth (Abby) Klingler III, Kyle Kahley and his companion Jeannette, Kierstin Klingler and fiancé Devin, and Cameron Klingler; four great-grandchildren, Blake, Lillian and Penelope Voneida, Kason Kahley; one sister, Barbara Waite.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Sherman Auman; and one sister, Beth Auman.

Family and friends will be received Monday, April 29, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Kreamer Funeral Home, 130 S. Zechman St., Beavertown, and again on Tuesday, April 30, from 10 to 11 a.m. followed by the funeral service at 11 with Pastor Randy Traxler officiating.

Burial will follow in Black Oak Ridge Cemetery, McClure.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to honor Janice's memory may be made to the McClure Veterans Memorial Pool, 32 E. Ohio St., McClure, PA 17841.
